Passing Out Parade Held at INS Chilka Batch – 01/2018

2,518 trainees of batch 01/2018 graduated from INS Chilka at a Passing Out Parade conducted on 13 July 2018. The parade, reviewed by Controller of personnel Services, marked the culmination of 21 weeks of basic training. The reviewing officer awarded medals and trophies to meritorious trainees and exhorted the trainees to hone their skills and motivated them to develop a high degree of professional awareness and expertise. Mayur P Shirke, SSR, Avinash Burhagohain, NVK (GD), Bhupender Yadav, NVK (DB) and Bavisetty Manikanta, MR were adjudged best trainees in their respective categories. The ceremony was also attended by parents and guardians of the trainees and personnel from the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.
