INS Tarangini Visits Port Amsterdam, Netherlands

INS Tarangini is on a port visit to Amsterdam, Netherlands as part of Lokayan-18, a seven-month long voyage with the theme ‘Sailing through Different Oceans and Uniting Nations’. The officers from the 94th Integrated Officers Training Course were imparted sail training in harbour and had a good opportunity to practice the same at sea as the ship encountered favourable winds for setting all sails during the passage from Bordeaux to Amsterdam. During her stay in harbour, the Commanding Officer called on the Commandant Marine Establishment Amsterdam. The ship was open to visitors and generated keen interest amidst the local populace.
