INS Tarangini Visits Port Bordeaux in France

INS Tarangini is on a port visit to Bordeaux, France, as part of a seven-month long voyage with the theme ‘Sailing through Different Oceans and Uniting Nations’. 30 officers from the 94th Integrated Officers Training Course embarked onboard the ship were imparted training on sail, engineering, electrical, firefighting, damage control equipment, bridge watch keeping, navigation and communication. During the stay in Bordeaux harbour, the ship was visited by Rear Admiral Pierre Canal, the local French Naval Commander, Brigadier S K Sharma, Indian Defence Attaché and other dignitaries. The ship performed 'Crew March', visited Musee D’Aquitaine museum, participated in Bordeaux Wine Festival, was open for onboard visits and also hosted a reception onboard. The ship will depart for Rotterdam, Netherlands on 19 June 2018.
