Mountaineering Expedition to Mount Strok Kangri

An expedition to Mt Strok Kangri in Leh region was undertaken by HQWNC/ND(Mb) from 05–18 Aug 15. Seven out of 14 mountaineers were successful in summiting the peak at 20000 ft (6250 mts) on 15 Aug 15. DAPSA has extended full support to this expeditions in terms of high altitude equipment and liaison with IMF/Army for climber permits / SAR respectively.
