Veteran Sailors Forum Held in Mumbai

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Veteran Sailors Forum (VSF), Mumbai was held at Navy Sailors Institute ‘Sagar’ on 13 May 2018. Rear Admiral Pradeep Joshi, Chief Staff Officer (Personnel and Administration), Western Naval Command (WNC), as president VSF, Mumbai Charter, presided over the meeting. Over 350 veterans including spouses and widows attended the AGM, wherein a number of issues regarding, pension, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Indian Naval Canteen Services (INCS) and welfare schemes were discussed. Presentations were made by Naval Pension Office (NAVPEN) and Regional Centre ECHS at the AGM. In addition, help desks from NAVPEN, ECHS, INCS and State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, INS Angre and Kunjali to address and resolve queries from veterans were set up at the venue.
