INS Tarangini at Salalah, Oman

INS Tarangini, a Sail Training Ship of the Indian Navy is on visit to Salalah, Oman as part of a seven-month long voyage themed ‘Sailing through Different Oceans and Uniting Nations’. The ship traversed 1,375 nautical miles in the first leg of her voyage with calm weather with winds varying from North Westerly to Northerly. The passage provided good sailing experience to the crew and ample opportunity to the trainees to hone their practical seamanship and navigation skills. As part of the stay in harbour the ship will remain open to visitors and school children.
