Iranian Warships Visits Mumbai

Three naval warships from the Islamic Republic of Iran, IRIS Nagdhi commanded by Commander Behnam Hossainpor, IRIS Bayandor by Commander Mohammad Bagher Rahmana and IRIS Tonb by Commander Mahdi Ahmadpour Samani visited Mumbai from 06 to 10 March 2018. During the visit, Captain Aria Shafaghat Rodsari, the Senior Officer embarked onboard the Iranian ships, along with the Commanding Officers called on Rear Admiral Puneet Kumar Bahl, Flag Officer Commanding, Maharashtra Naval Area and other senior officers of the Western Naval Command. The crew of the Iranian naval ships also visited INS Beas. Various professional, sports and social interactions were organised for the visitors during their stay at Mumbai.
