WNC Mumbai Visits

Visit of the Lok Sabha Committee on Estimates to the WNC - (04 Feb 16)

The Lock Sabha Committee on Estimates, comprising 15 Members of Parliament visited the Western Naval Command on 04 Feb 16.The Committee was briefed on the Western Naval Command and Coastal Security of the Western Seaboard, including the coastal security construct, co-ordination and synergy between various stakeholders / agencies involved in coastal security and initiatives being undertaken to strengthen maritime and coastal security.

The Committee also visited CGS Samrat and the Indian Navy’s latest stealth destroyer, INS Kochi.
