Visit of Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (Southern Naval Command) to Mauritius-(19- 22 Oct 15)

Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (South) calling on H.E. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, President of Mauritius 

Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, Flag Officer Commanding-n-Chief, Southern Naval Command visited Mauritius from 19-22 Oct 15. The Flag officer called on the Mauritius President and Commissioner of Police, amongst other Mauritius dignitaries. The visit renewed India’s commitment towards security and peace in the region and inter-operability between National Coast Guard Mauritius and Indian Navy. The visit coincided with the port call by Indian Naval Ship’s Tir, Sujata and Indian Coast Guard Ship Varuna to Port Louis (Mauritius).
