Inauguration of NCN Center, Jamnagar

Deputy Chief of Naval Staff inaugurated the Naval Communication Network (NCN) Centre at INS Valsura on 30 November 2019. He stated that the NCN would provide a tremendous boost to the communication throughput of the Indian Navy. He added that the technology acquired would enable the Navy to seamlessly transition to the use of new-age applications, with advanced security solutions, while bringing about real-time situational awareness. Riding on the triservices backbone, the NCN project will also be a key enabler of jointness in communications. During his visit, he also reviewed various training initiatives and infrastructure projects of the unit.
