Band Concert at Lakhota Lake - Navy Week 2017

As part of Navy Week – 2017 activities, the Indian Navy Band of INS Valsura conducted a live Band Performance on the evening of 18 Nov 17 at Lakhota lake, Jamnagar. The performance included Brass Band performance as well as vocal and flute solo rendering of popular patriotic songs and classical music. In addition to songs of the three Services, regional songs popular with the local populace were also played for the audience. The venue was open to all and the concert received an overwhelming response from the citizens of Jamnagar. Dignitaries from sister Services, SSB, Jamnagar Municipal Corporation, Gujarat Police and Industry also witnessed and enjoyed the melodies played by the Naval Band. Shri Ravi Shankar, IAS, District Collector was the Chief Guest for the event and felicitated the Naval Band on completion of the event.
