Chirec School, Hyderabad lifts CBSE Basketball Tournament Trophy

Final Match between NCS Vizag and Chirec School Hyderabad

Chirec School, Hyderabad has been adjudged winner of the CBSE Schools Cluster VII Basketball Tournament in under 19 category conducted at Visakhapatnam over last 3 days. The final matches started amidst the cheer and applause of the spectators. The final matches were played between the girls teams of Navy Children School, Nausena Baugh, Vizag and Chirec School, Hyderabad. All the matches were exciting and closely contested. Vice Admiral AK Jain, Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest.

Dr Paul Kumar, Principal, NCS presented the report on the tournament. The Chief Guest interacted with the participants and presented the trophies, medals and certificates to the Winners and Runners-up of the CBSE Cluster VII Basketball tournament. He lauded the performance of the participants and commended the efforts put-in by NCS(VZG) in organising the event successfully. The Sports Meet culminated with a promise to abide by the true sportsman spirit, to win in style, lose with dignity, come what may, keep the flag flying high.
