Victory Flame arrives INS Gomantak

The Victory Flame Swarnim Vijay Mashaal of Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations, commemorating the 50th anniversary of victory in the 1971 Indo Pak War, arrived at INS Gomantak, Goa on 11 September 2021. The Flame was received there by Rear Admiral Phillipose G Pynumootil, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area, at the war memorial erected in honour of those that made the supreme sacrifice during Operation Vijay, in the presence of Indian Army and Indian Navy personnel. The Flame was thereafter taken to 3 Military Training Regiment, Madgaon.
