Vice Admiral G Ashok Kumar, VCNS Visited Gujarat Naval Area 10-12 June 2021

Vice Admiral G Ashok Kumar, VCNS visited Gujarat Naval Area from 10 to 12 June 2021. On arrival, the VCNS was received by Flag Officer Commanding Gujarat Naval Area at NAE, Porbandar. During the visit, he visited various operational and welfare facilities of Gujarat Naval Area and was briefed about the operational and security situation in the Gujarat AOR as also the operational focus being given to the forward operating area. He interacted with officers and sailors of units under HQGD&D Naval Area. The VCNS also visited the Indian Navy's forward most operating base INS Dwarka wherein he was briefed about the Ops activities conducted in the Gulf of Kutch. The VCNS was accompanied by his wife Mrs Geetha Ashok Kumar, President NWWA.
