Tirunelveli City Acknowledges Navy's Contribution for a Noble Cause

In a well-attended public event organised by the city administration,  the District Collector of Tirunelveli district, Ms Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, felicitated the contribution of INS Kattabomman to the City's Blood banks through a targeted Blood donation camp during which 68 defence personnel had generously donated blood to the Tirunelveli Medical College and Hospital, including several with  rare blood groups. Surg Lt Cdr Abhilash A, who had spearheaded the noble gesture from INS Kattabomman, represented the unit during the public commemoration of the event and received the token of recognition from the city administration.
