SNC Swachhta Pakhwada - I

Swachhta Pakhwada is being observed from 01 to 15 December 2018 at all training establishments, schools and units of SNC, towards meeting the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission. All service personnel, civilians and families are actively and wholeheartedly participating in various cleanliness drives and activities, both in and around their units and residential enclaves. A Community Education programme, through a painting competition on Swachhta theme, was conducted on 01 December 2018 for service personnel and children, which was followed by community shramdan. On 02 December 2018, a walkathon was conducted by units to spread awareness about Swachhta Pakhwada, which was followed by a coastal cleanliness drive undertaken by the naval community. On 03 December 2018, a shramdan was again conducted by naval personnel along with a cleanliness drive of harbour and jetties.
