Search and Rescue Efforts by INS Valsura in Flood Affected Areas around Jamnagar

INS Valsura deployed Indian Navy Search and Rescue teams in Dhrol and Alia Bada areas of Jamnagar district to rescue people from inundated areas and shift them to safer location on 15 and 16 July 2017 based on a request for assistance from the civil administration of Jamnagar. Two teams with divers, life guards, rescue equipment and medical supplies were deployed to assist the civil administration.
