School Children Visit Ships in Harbour

As a part of ‘Navy Day 2016’ celebrations, a visit to ships in harbour was organised for school children. Every year ships are open to visitors and few school children are taken to sea. To enhance the exposure of school children to the Navy, an exclusive day was kept for organised visit by schools. Approximately 1250 students from various schools of Mumbai utilised the opportunity to visit INS Delhi and INS Tabar. The children were given a first-hand exposure to high end technology available on board front line warships of the Indian Navy.
