Passing Out Parade of Long Navigation and Direction Course

33 Officers from Indian Navy and four officers from Indian Coast Guard graduated from Navigation Direction School on 04 May 2019. The Passing Out Parade, reviewed by Officer-in-Charge ND School, marked culmination of 48 weeks of professional training in Navigation, Aircraft Direction and Operations. Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, the Chief Guest at the Valedictory function, awarded trophies to the meritorious trainee officers. Lieutenant Commander Ankit Kumar was awarded the Admiral OS Dawson Rolling Trophy for standing First in Overall Order of Merit and Lieutenant Commander Brijesh Ojha was awarded the Vice Admiral BS Soman Rolling Trophy for standing Second in Overall Order of Merit in the Long ND course. In addition, Chief of the Naval Staff Trophy for best all round performance was awarded to Lieutenant Commander Abraham Varghese.
