Passing Out Parade of Leading ‘Q’ Aircraft Handler/ Photo and Basic Aviation Vehicles Operator Courses Held at  School for Naval Airmen

90 trainees of the Indian Navy and 16 from the Indian Coast Guard graduated on completion of Leading ‘Q’ (Aircraft Handler), Leading ‘Q’ (Photo) and Basic Aviation Vehicle Operator Course (BAVO) courses from School for Naval Airmen (SFNA) at a Passing-out Parade held on 25 January 2020. The event marked the culmination of 14 weeks of theoretical and practical training in support of aviation operations. The Leading AH courses visited the Centre for Fire Explosive and Environmental Safety (CFEES), New Delhi, Naval Air Station Garuda and operational ships of the SNC for familiarisation on practical aspects related to aviation operations in the Navy. The BAVO course was imparted training on various types of Basic vehicles in the Navy. Kunal Chanchal NAI (AH) and Ajay Singh Rathore NAI (PH) were adjudged first overall in Leading ‘Q’ (Air Handler) and Leading ‘Q’ (Photo) courses respectively whereas Pydi Ramakrishna NVK (AH) from Indian Coast Guard was adjudged first overall in the BAVO course. Mohit, NAI (AH) was adjudged best in Skill test. The Officer-in-Charge, SFNA presented certificates and book prizes to meritorious trainees at the POP.
