Passing Out Parade - Hull Artificers, Held at INS Vishwakarma

Passing Out Parade of 58 Hull Artificer Apprentices of A-140 Batch,  comprising 47 Indian Navy Hull Artificer sailors, 07 Coast Guard Yantriks and 04 foreign trainees from friendly foreign navies was conducted at INS Vishwakarma on completion of two and half years professional course on 20 February 2019. The march past was followed by crossing of dais in ‘dheere chaal’ by the passing out apprentice sailors as per the finest traditions of Indian Navy which was reviewed by Cmde Sanjiv Kapoor, Commanding Officer, INS Vishwakarma.

A Valedictory function followed by dinner was also organised for the trainees, Ships Company and families. Hitesh, HA/APP stood overall first in the Course and was awarded the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (South) Gold medal. All the passing out sailors would shortly assume their appointments onboard frontline warships.
