Passing Out Parade of 93rd Integrated Officers’ Training Course

Passing Out Parade for 108 officer trainees of the 93rd Integrated Officers’ Training Course was held at Naval Base, Kochi on 30 August 2019. The POP, reviewed Chief of Staff, SNC, marked the completion of their ab initio training. Sub Lieutenant Rishav Saha was awarded the Admiral Ram Dass Katari Trophy for standing First in Overall Order of Merit during the ab-initio training phase as well as the Chief of Naval Staff Rolling Trophy for standing First during the Sub Lieutenants’ Courses. Sub Lieutenant Arun Kumar D was awarded the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (South) Rolling Trophy for standing Second in overall Order of Merit during the Sub Lieutenants’ courses. The Sub-Lieutenants’ Courses are conducted at 14 professional schools located at Kochi, Jamnagar, Lonavla and Mumbai. In addition to theoretical training, the trainees are exposed to an intense practical learning environment, through Outward Bound Exercises, watermanship training, sports and cultural activities.
