Passing Out Parade of 91st Integrated Officer Trainees’ Course held at Naval Base, Kochi
119 officers of the 91st Integrated Officer Trainees’ Course graduated on completion of their ab-initio training at a Passing Out Parade held at Naval Base, Kochi on 01 September 2018. The 33 weeks Sub-Lieutenant (Technical) course is conducted at 14 professional schools located at Kochi, Jamnagar, Lonavla and Mumbai. In addition to theoretical training, the trainees were exposed to practical learning environment through outdoor exercises, watermanship, sports, cultural activities, parade and safety lectures. The Chief of Naval Staff Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals for standing first, second and third in the Sub Lt (Afloat) Phase, were awarded to Sub Lieutenant Abhilash Singh, Sub Lieutenant Hitesh Singh and Sub Lieutenant Daivik Saha respectively. Sub Lieutenant Abhilash Singh was also awarded the Sword of Honour, for standing first in Officer Like Qualities and also being amongst the first five in the overall order of merit during the Sub Lt (Afloat) Phase. Sub Lieutenant Anmol Bhatia was awarded Admiral Ram Das Katari Trophy with silver medal for standing first in overall order of merit from induction to completion of ab-initio training and the FOC-in-C, South Trophy with book prize for standing second in overall order of merit during the Sub Lieutenant Technical Courses. Sub Lieutenant Daivik Saha was awarded the CNS Trophy with book prize, for standing first in overall order of merit during the Sub Lieutenant Technical Courses.
