Passing Out Of Long ‘Gunnery’ (Indian) Course

22 officers from the Indian Navy and two from the Indian Coast Guard graduated on completion of Long Gunnery Course at a Passing Out Parade held at INS Dronacharya on 04 May 2018. The parade reviewed by Commodore Simon Mathai, Commanding Officer INS Dronacharya marked the culmination of 48 weeks of training, comprising various facets of Gunnery and Missile Warfare and Naval Fleet Tactics. Lieutenant Commander Vikrant Mhamunkar was awarded the CNS Trophy for best overall performance in the course. Lieutenant Commanders Jayesh Chandran and Vivek Yadav were awarded the VCNS Trophy and Shivaji Trophy for standing first and second in order of merit respectively.
