New Commodore Superintendent for Naval Aircraft Yard, Kochi

Commodore Ramesh Menon assumed charge as the Commodore Superintendent of Naval Aircraft Yard, Kochi, which is the deep level repair organisation at Southern Naval Command for Sea King  and Chetak helicopters  and airframe electrical  and avionics components of Western  and  indigenous  aircraft operated by the Indian Navy.

Commodore Menon was commissioned in 1991 and is an Air Engineer Officer specially qualified in maintenance of Sea King helicopters. He was previously serving as Principal Director/ Commodore at Directorate of Air Logistics Support at Integreated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Navy) at New Delhi.  He has also held various technical positions in the Navy such as Senior Staff Technical Officer at headquarters of Naval Aviation, Command Air Technical Officer at Eastern Naval Command and Station Air Engineer Officer at INS Garuda.
