Navika Sagar Parikrama Update 92 - Leg 5

INSV Tarini, with its team of six women officers, reentered the Northern Hemisphere at about 2000 hours on 06 May 2018. INSV Tarini crossed the Equator for the second time on this voyage, thereby completing all major criteria of the circumnavigation, namely crossing the Equator twice, crossing Cape Leeuwin, Cape Horn and Cape of Good Hope. The vessel is about 1,012 nautical miles (approximately 1,874 kms) from Goa, her home port and is expected to arrive at Goa in mid May 2018.
