Naval Holiday Home ‘Leher’ Inaugurated at Visakhapatnam

A state of the art Naval Holiday Home ‘Leher’ was inaugurated at Visakhapatnam by Commodore KA Bopanna, Commanding Officer INS Circars and Smt Rinky Devi, wife of Vinod Kumar MCPO II in the presence of Admiral Karambir Singh, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Atul Kumar Jain, FOC-in-C ENC and Mrs Devina Jain President NWWA(ER) on 04 March 2020. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Flag Officers, Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge and naval personnel of Eastern Naval Command(ENC). The Holiday Home has 32 cabins with all modern facilities including a dedicated restaurant that has been designed with the theme of our national bird, Peacock. The Holiday Home will provide transit accommodation for Armed Forces personnel coming on transfer or on a holiday with family to Visakhapatnam. Vinod Kumar MCPO II has been part of the Project Management Team overseeing the construction of the Holiday Home.

Earlier, Admiral Karambir Singh was received at INS Dega by Vice Adm Atul Kumar Jain, FOC-in-C ENC and was briefed on the activities of the Command.  The CNS also interacted with junior officers of ENC prior to his departure from Visakhapatnam on 05 March 2020.
