Naval Diving Team Dispatched for Search Operations in Dikhow River in Siva Sagar District Assam
Based on a request received from Siva Sagar District Administration, Assam a 10 member Indian Navy Diving team along with associated diving equipment were airlifted from Visakhapatnam by Indian Air Force AN 32 aircraft for search ops at Siva Sagar Distt, Assam on 03 September 2018.
The Naval Diving team will augment the NDRF team and civil authorities in the search and recovery operations, of a vehicle, which was reported to have been drowned along with five members of a family in Dikhow River at Dechial village of siva sagar District.
