MoU with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Indian Navy and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on 12 February 2021 for continuation of IGNOU-Navy Educational Project (INEP) scheme. The MoU  further strengthens the progress made thus far by the INEP scheme and introduces new disciplines and certificate courses that are relevant with an aim to educational growth of Naval Personnel and their dependants. Vice Admiral SN Ghormade, AVSM, NM, Controller Personnel Services (CPS) and Cmde MK Singh, Commodore (Naval Education) of Indian Navy, and Prof Nageshwar Rao, Vice Chancellor, IGNOU and Dr VB Negi, Registrar, IGNOU were present during the signing ceremony.
