Financial Assistance Admissible to Scholarship for post 10+2 Education

Merit scholarships is admissible to first two children only for pursuing post 10+2 graduation/Post Graduation Courses. Besides this scholarships for recognized post 10+2 Vocational Courses of 52 weeks or more duration are also admissible. The rates of scholarship per annum are Rs. 15,000/- for day Scholars and Rs. 20,000/- for Boarders.

Note: If a child does not meet the laid down criteria at 10+2 level then he/she would not be eligible for the Ist year of graduation but as soon as the child meets the requisited criteria at ANY LEVEL/YEAR of graduation or post graduation then the child will be eligible for the scholarship for next academic year.
Renewal of scholarship (already awarded)
Children of Deceased Personnel(Pensioners): A minimum of 50% is required. They must pass in all subjects in first regular attempt.
Specimen application for scholarships is placed at Annexure II, and is also available with local Naval Authorities, NCC Units, Zila Sainik Boards. Eligible applicants are to apply every year for Fresh/Renewal of scholarship to The Principal Director, Non Public Funds, Directorate of Non Public Funds, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Navy), Sena Bhavan, New Delhi 110 011. Typed/neatly handwritten applications are to reach Naval Headquarters latest by 01 Nov.
