Medical Camp Organised by Indian Navy at Govindapalem Village, Visakhapatnam
As part of Indian Navy's community outreach programme, a medical camp was organised at Govindpalem village, Visakhapatnam on 31 January 2018 with the aim of providing comprehensive health check-up for early detection of chronic diseases. The medical camp was inaugurated by Surgeon Rear Admiral Bijitesh Chakravarty, Command Medical Officer and covered Pediatrics, Dermatology, Dental, Ophthalmology, general OPD and laboratory investigations. Over 500 personnel including children benefited from the consultations. The villagers were also briefed regarding aspects of hygiene and preventive care.
