Mass Tree Plantation at INS Valsura at Jamnagar

A tree plantation drive was conducted on 20 May 2017 at INS Valsura, Jamnagar with the objective of increasing the greenery of the establishment. Commodore Indrajit Dasgupta, Commanding Officer INS Valsura planted the first sapling and inaugurated the green drive. The plantation drive in the residential area was continued by Officers and Sailors of INS Valsura. Family members of personnel including children keenly participated in the event. A total of 186 saplings were planted under this green initiative. A dedicated team of personnel will take care of the planted saplings in the coming days to ensure its healthy growth.
