International maritime Conference - Galle Dialogue 2015 held at Sri Lanka from - (23-24 Nov 15)

The International Maritime Conference – Galle Dialogue 2015 was  held at Sri Lanka from 23-24 Nov 15 and Admiral RK Dhowan, the Chief of Naval Staff was one of the speakers during the dialogue.

Call on Mr Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka

In addition to participation in the Galle Dialogue, the Chief of Naval Staff visit to Sri Lanka also aimed to provide impetus to the Indian Navy’s engagement with the Sri Lankan Navy and strengthen the ongoing maritime cooperation between the two counties. The Chief of the Naval Staff delivered a talk on the topic ‘Collaborative Architectures for Maritime Security- An Indian Navy’s Perspective’ during this conference on 23 Nov 15.

During the visit, the CNS called Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mr Ranil Wickramasinghe, Sri Lankan Defence Secretary Mr Karunasena Hettiarachchi and also held interaction with Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy.
