Indian Navy Participates in Minicoy Festival

Indian Navy participated in the 6th National Minicoy Festival, conducted by the Lakshadweep and Minicoy (L&M) administration, at Minicoy Island on 28 February 2018. Various naval activities including fly past by a Dornier aircraft, Search and Rescue demonstration by a Chetak helicopter, beach assault by MARCOS and close range anti-aircraft firing and underway illumination by INS Jamuna were showcased at the festival. Villagers from the L&M Islands participate in the festival to showcase their traditions, customs and culture.
