Indian Navy – Royal Thai Navy Staff Talks

Indian Navy – Royal Thai Navy Staff Talks and the 13th meeting of Joint Working Group for Establishment of Order at Sea were held at Thailand from 29 to 31 May 2017. The salient issues discussed included Training cooperation, White Shipping Information, Operational Interactions, Hydrography & Meterology cooperation, Indian Ocean Naval Symposium, Admiral's Cup etc. The Royal Thai Navy delegation was led by R Adm Paradon Puangkeaw, Director, Office of Policy and Planning Naval Operations Department. The Indian side was led by Cmde Manish Sharma, Principal Director of Foreign Cooperation (PDFC). The Indian delegation also called on Adm Luechai Ruddit, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Navy on 29 May 2017 and discussed issues of mutual interest.
