HR Workshop Conducted at INS Chilka, Odisha

A one-day HR workshop to commemorate 40th anniversary of INS Chilka, themed ‘Indian Navy Sailors of 2035 and Beyond – Future HR Imperatives' was conducted at INS Chilka on 22 January 2020. The aim of the workshop was to bring to fore, anticipated HR challenges of the future and identify measures that could be taken by the Indian Navy to overcome such challenges. Over 600 personnel, including personnel from IHQ MoD (Navy), units of SNC and Bureau of Sailors, Mumbai attended the workshop. Assistant Chief of Personnel (HRD), the Chief Guest, delivered the key note address. The workshop provided a platform for the speakers from across the IndianNavy to share their views and opinions on the extant HR issues under three broad topics - ‘HR Challenges faced by IN’, ‘Expectations from a Sailor’ and ‘A peek into the Future’.
