Hindi Fortnight Celebrations Held at Southern Naval Command

Hindi Fortnight was celebrated in Southern Naval Command (SNC) from 14 to 28 September 2018, to promote the use of Hindi amongst Indian Naval service and civilian personnel. A workshop on Official Language Policy, and various Hindi competitions were the highlights of the activities. The closing ceremony of the Hindi Fortnight was conducted at Talwar Hall, Signal School on 17 October 2018. Vice Admiral A K Chawla, AVSM, NM, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command was the Chief Guest on the occasion, which witnessed a Hasya Kavi Sammelan performed for the audience. The Commander-in-Chief released the 13th edition of Dakshini Vani Hindi Journal of SNC and also awarded certificates and cash prizes to the winners of various competitions held during the Hindi Fortnight.
