Green Practices and Rajbhasha Awards Presented at Naval Base Kochi

The Annual Command Meeting (ACM-19) of Southern Naval Command (SNC) which was held at Puzhamukham Hall, Naval Base, Kochi on 05 November 2019 saw the trophies for Green practices and Official language (Hindi) promotion being presented to the units of Southern Naval Command. The Dakshin Nausena Kaman Raj Bhasha Rolling Trophy for promotion of Hindi language in official work, was awarded to INS Shivaji, while the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Rolling Trophies for Best Green Practices were awarded to Naval Ship Repair Yard (Kochi) in Industrial Category and INS Shivaji in the Non Industrial Category.

The meeting was chaired by Vice Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla, FOC-in-C, SNC and was attended by heads of all units as well as senior staff officers under SNC. During the meeting various Operational, Technical, HR and Administrative issues concerning SNC were discussed.

The ACM is an annual activity at all Commands of the Indian navy wherein a stock taking of all the issues concerning the units of the respective Commands is carried out for analysis and course correction if any.
