Exercise KOMODO

Exercise KOMODO. Ex- KOMODO is a multilateral Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise, and was conducted for the first time by the Indonesian Navy from 28 Mar – 03 Apr 14 at Batam, Indonesia. IN participated in the exercise with INS Sukanya. Invitation for participation in the exercise was extended to ASEAN navies and observer countries (India, China, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan and USA). The exercise included Land and Ship Medical Evacuation Exercise (MEDEVAC) and Engineering Civic Action Programme (ENCAP) during the Civic Mission Phase, in which personnel from the ship participated 22 navies participated in the exercise.
