Chief of the Naval Staff Visit to Australia

Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff visited Australia with the aim to consolidate existing maritime cooperation initiatives as well as explore new avenues. During the visit to HMAS Albatross, he was received by Commodore Dan Dezentje, Commander Fleet Air Arm. The visit included a brief on MH60R helicopter, facilities, simulators and a sortie onboard MH 90 helicopter. The usage of augmented reality in training was also demonstrated by the RAN. The CNS also interacted with Rear Admiral John Mead, Fleet Commander, Hon Senator David Fawcett, Chairman Joint Standing Committee for Trade, Defence and Foreign Affairs and Mr Nick Champion, MP, Dy Chairman.
