CBSE School Basketball tournament inaugurated at ENC

The CBSE School Basketball Cluster VII Tournament for the year 2016-17 was inaugurated on 13 Oct 16, by Commodore KA Bopanna, Commanding Officer, INS Circars at the Fleet ground. The event will witness a clash of basketball titans from 22 CBSE Schools from the Southern States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh that represent Cluster VII. The three-day event being held from 13 to 15 Oct 16 will have 22 Teams comprising 09 from AP and 13 from Telangana contesting in 20 matches over the next three days wherein only the top two teams in each category will qualify to represent their respective schools at the CBSE Clusters.

 It is for the third time that Navy Children School, Visakhapatnam will be hosting an event of this magnitude. NCS, Nausena baugh, nestled in the hills of the City of Destiny, will have the proud privilege not only of conducting the watershed event that will witness back to back matches at two different venues, but also of playing host to over 308 students alongside a support staff of 22 Coaches, Managers, Match Officials and  CBSE Observer. The host school will be fielding two teams of its own at the event. The Semi and the Final of the event being held under the aegis of the Eastern Naval Command are scheduled to be held on Saturday, 15 Oct 15.
