Blood Donation Camp by INS Eksila

A Blood Donation Camp was organized by INS Eksila with the theme “Tears of a Mother Cannot Save a Child. But your Blood Can” as part of community outreach initiative of Eastern Naval Command on 10 August 2018. There was an enthusiastic response from 105 volunteers including officers, sailors and defence civilian personnel. The blood donation camp was organised in collaboration with NTR Voluntary Blood Bank, Visakhapatnam. The donated blood was handed over to the Blood Bank which would be utilised for those in need especially for Dengue  patients and road traffic accident victims.
