Bangladesh Navy Officers Visit Indian Naval Academy

A delegation of five officers from Bangladesh Navy  headed by Captain Masud Iqbal visited Indian Naval Academy (INA) from 17 to 18 July 2019. The aim of the visit was to reinforce the bridges of friendship between the two navies, exchange best practices and to consolidate and enhance bilateral defence relations between India and Bangladesh.

During the visit, the delegation called on Commandant INA. They also interacted with the staff, witnessed various training activities and were acquainted with the training philosophy and training processes at INA.

The delegation visited the Academy’s training facilities, sports infrastructure and also interacted with the cadets of Bangladesh Navy, presently undergoing training at INA. The delegation departed INA on 18 July 2019.
