7th India-Myanmar Coordinated Patrol - 26 to 29 September 2018

Indian Naval Ship Kulish, Battimalv and a Dornier aircraft are on a visit to Yangoon, Myanmar for the opening ceremony of the 7th India-Myanmar Coordinated Patrol (IMCOR). The coordinated patrol will be conducted from 26 to 29 September 2018 followed by the closing ceremony on 30 September 2018 at Coco Island, Myanmar. During the stay in harbour various activities such as official calls, formal reception, sporting fixtures, ship open to visitors and professional interaction between both the navies have been planned. The visit seeks to underscore India’s peaceful presence and solidarity with friendly countries towards ensuring good order in the maritime domain, consolidate interoperability and strengthen existing bonds of friendship between India and Myanmar.
