4th Indian Navy-Bangladesh Navy Staff Talks at Dhaka, Bangladesh (09 to 11 Jan 17)

The 4th Indian Navy – Bangladesh Navy Staff Talks were conducted at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 09 to 11 Jan 17. The talks were co-chaired by RAdm Dhiren Vig, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation& Intelligence) from Indian Navy and RAdm M Makbul Hossain Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) from Bangladesh Navy. The ACNS (FCI) also called on the Chief of Naval Staff of Bangladesh Navy.

Interaction with the Chief of the Naval Staff, Bangladesh Navy

During the Staff Talks, several issues related to Naval cooperation including assistance in specialist training, aviation, technical cooperation and progress of the Indian Ocean Symposium (IONS) related activities were discussed. The Indian Navy delegation also visited Bangladesh Navy School of Logistics and Management (SOLAM) and Khulna Shipyard.
