46th Inter Services Gymnastic Championship - INS Hamla

INS Hamla, the premier Logistics training establishment of the Indian Navy situated at Marve, Malad (W), Mumbai, is hosting the 46th Inter-Services Gymnastics Championship from 06 to 09 August 2019. A total of 30 gymnasts from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force will be participating in the Championship, which will have individual and team competitions in Floor Exercises, Pommel Horse, Roman Rings, Table Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar. The objective of the Championship is to select and train Services sportsmen for Military World Games.

INS Hamla trains officers and enlisted personnel of the Indian Navy as well as sister services, and Friendly Foreign Countries in Logistics Management, Finance, Material, Catering, Hospitality and Computer Applications. It is also the establishment where the Navy Boxing and Gymnastics teams are based.

Rakesh Patra CPO (PT) of the Indian Navy, a gymnast of International repute, will showcase his prowess during the Championship.
