32,000 Visitors visit Indian Naval Ships

32,000 Visitors visit Indian Naval Ships

Around 32,000 people visited Indian Naval Ships (INS) Delhi and Tarkash while they were open to visitors on two weekends i.e. on 14, 15, 21 and 22 November 2015, as a part of Navy Day 2015 celebrations. Over the last two days over nearly 19,000 visitors come to take the opportunity to see their warships amid heavy security arrangements.

Most people want to utilise the opportunity to show warships to their children. Thus, Navy this year approached many schools for organised visits to ships in harbour and the last of such visit will be held tomorrow. In the run up to Navy Day, on 04 Dec, each year the Indian Navy opens its doors to showcase its resources to its people.
