20 Foreign Service Attaches' from Friendly Foreign Countries Visit Indian Naval Academy

20 Foreign Service Attaches' (FSA) from friendly foreign countries arrived at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on 23 August 2017 on an official visit. On their arrival, they were received by Commodore Arjun Dev Nair, Principal Director (Training), INA.

A conducted tour to academic faculties and laboratories, Warship Simulator, Weapon Training Centre, Sail Training Centre, Firing Range, Sports Facilities, Equitation Training Centre, Cadets Mess, Cadets Squadrons and Aquatics Complex was also conducted for the visiting FSAs

The FSAs, were formally briefed on the academies infrastructure progress and plans, training processes and training facilities at INA. A conducted tour to academic faculties and laboratories, Warship Simulator, Weapon Training Centre, Sail Training Centre, Firing Range, Sports Facilities, Equitation Training Centre, Cadets Mess, Cadets Squadrons and Aquatics Complex was also conducted for the visiting FSAs.

The FSAs expressed interest in exploring possibilities for enhancing training cooperation with their respective countries and participation in the annual Admirals Cup Sailing Regatta.

A cultural programme showcasing the rich and diverse heritage, culture and art forms of Kerala is planned during the dinner to be hosted by Vice Admiral SV Bhokare, AVSM, YSM, NM, Commandant, INA.  The FSA delegations would depart INA on Thursday, 24 August 2017.
