10th Indian Navy-Royal Thai Navy Staff Talks at New Delhi and 14th Joint Working Group on Establishment of Order at Sea Meeting (16 to 19 Jul 18)
The 10th Indian Navy – Royal Thai Navy Staff Talks were conducted at New Delhi from 16 to 19 Jul 18. The talks were co-chaired by R Adm Atul Anand, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation & Intelligence) from Indian Navy and R Adm Chonlathis Navanugraha Director, Office of Policy and Planning, Naval Operations Department, fromRoyal Thai Navy. R Adm Chonlathis Navanugraha also called on V Adm G Ashok Kumar, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff on 17 Jul 18.
During the Staff Talks, several issues related to naval cooperation including assistance in specialist training, Indo-Thai CORPATs, bilateral exercises and technical assistance were discussed. The Royal Thai Navy delegation also visited IMAC, Gurugram and were presented with an overview of the Indian Coastal Surveillance System.
