Sparsh : Reaching out to the Underprivileged

NWWA believes in reaching out and taking the responsibility for upliftment of the communities, outside the naval community, through its various outreach programmes. Whether it is the fisherman community, the ethnic weaver groups or orphanages and old age homes, NWWA organizes numerous programmes to address their financial, emotional and employment needs. Donations of rations, clothes, stationery, medicines, blankets and other utility items are made to meet the daily requirements of the needy at orphanages, old age homes and destitute homes. Health and sanitation camps are conducted at weaver’s colonies to improve their living conditions.
